Blurry Footage, Tilted Horizon & Dead Gimbals — Optics, Cables and Boards
(469) 457-0134A drone that flies fine but shoots unusable video still needs repair. Gimbal motors, flex cables and the camera board all wear or break in a crash, and most of it is fixable at board level rather than by buying a new camera.
Weak or seized axes replaced and re-zeroed.
Torn or cracked ribbon cables swapped — the usual cause of flicker.
Sensor boards, connectors and power rails repaired on the bench.
Scratched lenses, ND filters and dust removal from the assembly.
IMU and gimbal calibration so the horizon sits level again.
Footage reviewed on a calibrated monitor before the drone leaves us.
We look at sample video to match the fault to a subsystem.
Motors, cables and board inspected under magnification.
Failed parts repaired, gimbal re-zeroed mechanically.
Firmware calibration run and new footage checked.
